Pakistan selection committee after taking its time to announce the final squad for World Cup 2015 has revealed that final list of players who make it to the final squad.
Pakistan who is in Pool B of the tournament will open their World Cup campaign against India on February 15 in Adelaide.
The final list of players in performing order includes Misbah-ul-Haq (captain), Ahmed Shehzad, Muhammed Hafeez, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Younis Khan, Haris Sohail, Umar Akmal, Sohaib Maqsood, Shahid Afridi Khan, Yasir Shah, Mohammed Irfan, Junaid Khan, Ahsan Adil, Sohail Khan and Wahab Riaz.
Three seniors Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Malik and Umar Gul have missed the flight to the mega event.
National selection committee chief Moin Khan said the committee is confident in the team they have selected based on the performance and fitness of players. He is positive that the committee has chosen the winning squad for the upcoming World Cup 2015.
