imageISLAMABAD: A leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) and member of the National Assembly Raja Javed Ikhlas Wednesday called upon all democratic and political forces to step forward to steer the country out of current complicated and difficult state.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said the national issues like load shedding, infrastructural development, eradication of terrorism from the society and political stability should be resolved with the concerted joint efforts of all stake holders.

He said, "the PML-N government has launched many development projects that will put the nation on progress and prosperity. However efforts to divert the attention of the government or creating hurdles in the way of the government would not serve any cause, he added.

He said the political parties should try to sort out country's problems rather than involve in blame game.

He urged all segment of society to help IDPs (Internally displaced persons) because they need financial, moral and political support to get over the plight they are affected by. "

Senior journalist Anjum Rashid said, "Prime Minister wants to resolve all issue facing by the country including terrorism and compensation or rehabilitation of IDPs.

We need to collectively overcome the issue of IDPs. It is time for us to show solidarity, he added.

Senior journalist Iftikhar Ahmed said all political parties should support government's development agendas to bring country on the path of progress.

"Protest is a right of political parties, but protest in a situation where a country is fighting a war against terrorism leads to a state of anarchy, he said.

"To protest by gathering some people is not revolution, he said, it needs a long struggle. Our nation is facing many problems and we need to overcome these problems collectively", he added.

Senior journalist Farooq Moeen said, "Country is facing numerous problems these days, so democratic process is imperative for the progress and prosperity of the land. We should be united to eliminate terrorism from our soil, he remarked.
