KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan, has hailed the appointment of Gen. Rashid Mahmood and Gen. Raheel Sharif as the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) respectively.
In a statement issued by the Governor House here on Wednesday, he felicitated Gen. Rashid Mahmood and Gen. Raheel Sharif.
The Governor said that Pak Army is among the best armies in the world and assuming its leadership is a big honour.
He hoped that with their professional expertise they would make further effective the defence of the country.
Dr. Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan said that it is the prayer of the entire nation that Almighty Allah enable them to discharge their responsibilities ably and they remain successful in facing the challenges confronting the country.
