KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has taken stern notice of the incidents of firing and targeted killings in Karachi.
Expressing his annoyance on these incidents, Qaim Ali Shah has sought an immediate report from the Additional Inspector General Police (IGP), Karachi.
A CM House statement here on Friday said that the Chief Minister directed the Police, Rangers and other law enforcement agencies to take every possible steps for ensuring peaceful conditions in the metropolis.
He also directed that the patrolling and snap checking in the city be enhanced.
Qaim Ali Shah asked all the SSPs to remain alert in their respective jurisdictions and keep vigilant eye on the miscreants.
He said that those involved in the incidents be apprehended immediately.
The Chief Minister said that maintenance of law and order is the prime responsibility of the government which will be discharged ably.
