HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares topple 1.92 percent on Tuesday morning, in line with regional losses, as jitters set in amid escalating violence in the Middle East.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell 451.87 points to 23,033.55 on turnover of HK$41.92 billion ($5.38 billion).
