KARACHI: President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) has said that the business community will resort to indefinite strike if instances of lawlessness were not checked by the Government.
According to a statement of KCCI issued here late Friday evening, KCCI President Saeed Shafeeq held a special session with the representative of industrialists, Siraj Kassim Teli and had an indepth discussion on the issue.
The representatives of KCCI Special Committee on Small Industries also were present in the meeting and condemned the murder of industrialist Waqas Mandia.
They urged authorities to look into issue and resolve the problem while taking stringent measures against the police officers posted in SITE area.
