 ISLAMABAD: The exports of sports goods have registered an increase of 11.92 per cent during last seven months of the current financial year.

According to data compiled by the Federal Bureau of Statistic (FBS), sports goods including footballs, gloves and other products worth $16.70 million were exported during the period from July 2010 to January 2011.

Football export during the period under review has witnessed an increase of 12.35 percent.

Meanwhile, the export of gloves was also increased by 10.18 percent during the last seven months of current financial year.

The export of other sports goods witnessed an increased of 4.23 percent as other sports goods worth $ 2.66 million.
