ISLAMABAD: Expressing solidarity with minorities both treasury and opposition benches on Thursday joined minorities parliamentarians' token walk out from the National Assembly to protest the assassination of Minister for Minorities Affairs Shahbaz Bhatti.
Minorities MNA from Balochistan Asiya Nasir strongly condemned the killing of Shahbaz Bhatti and said that minorities members would stage token walk out from the House in protest against the killing.
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Babar Awan said that PPP and coalition partners would also join the walk out.
Later, almost all the members of all political parties in National Assembly joined the protest and staged token walk out from the House.
