BUDAPEST: Hungary's central bank accepted funds worth 175 billion forints ($635.92 million) from local commercial banks for its main three-month deposit on Wednesday, cutting the stock of the facility to 575 billion forints.

The bank aims to lower the amount of funds parked in its main liquidity tool to 500 billion forints by the end of the second quarter.
