MADRID: Spanish economic output will increase by 2.7 percent in 2017 from a year earlier, Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said on Thursday, raising the government's official forecast from a previous 2.5 percent.
"We'll approve new economic figures at the cabinet meeting on Friday ... If we get our priorities right, we have the opportunity for a long period of economic growth and prosperity," Rajoy said during a conference.
