Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One ship arrived at Port to offload containers at QICT on 30th November,2012.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 57% at the Port Saturday where a total of four ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.V Thor Independence, M.V Cape Flores, M.V Mare Atlantlcum, M.V MSC Clementina, M.T Global Peace, M.T Sidra Ras Laffan, M.V Sai Enternity, are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, wheat, furnace oil, cement, containers, palm oil.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 63346 tonnes comprising 42440 tonnes import, 20906 export and (2760) tues was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.V Mare Atlanticum sailed on Friday afternoon. M.V Thor Independence, M.V Oape Flores, M.T Sidra Ras Laffan, M.T Global Peace sailed on Saturday morning.

M.T Azalea Galaxy at LCT. M.T AL Marzooah at FOTCO, M.T Harsanadi at EVTL arrive on 1st December.
