KARACHI: Two ships carrying containers and steel coil were allotted berth at Qasim International Containers Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal during last 24 hours.
Meanwhile five more ships scheduled to load/offload containers, edible oil and furnace oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.
Berth occupancy was 35% at the Port on Thursday where total number of four ships namely CGM Puccini, Thor Independence, Sea Coral and M.V Amagi Galaxy are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, steel coil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 39232 tonnes comprising 28777 tonnes imports and 10455 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 769 containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
