Shipping activity at Port Qaism

KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qaim to load/offload containers and to load cement on Saturday.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 42 percent at the Port on Saturday where a total of six ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey-Power Ship, M.V Leo Pard-B, M.V Thor Independence, M.V MSC Jade, M.V Cos Glory, M.T Gennaro Ievoli are currently occupying berths to load-offload containers, cement, canola seed, phosphoric acid was handled at Port last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 48556 tonnes comprising 38149 tonnes import, 10407 tonnes export, 2560 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.T Gennaro Ievoli sailed on Saturday afternoon.
