KARACHI: Two ships carrying containers and cement were allotted berth at Qasim International container Terminals and multi purpose terminal during last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, two more ships scheduled to load/offload project cargo and edible oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 45% at the Port on Monday where total number of five ships namely M.V Maersk Montana, D.N Vatan, ILC Friendship, Mana Deepa and Dai Duong Sunrise are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, steel scrape and soya been respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 19,238 tonnes comprising 12,677 tonnes imports and 6,561 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 658 Containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
