KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers wheat and urea were allotted berths on Qasim International Containers Terminal and FAP Terminals respectively during last 24 hours.
Meanwhile one more ship scheduled to offload crude oil was also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 45 percent at the Port on Monday where total number of five ships namely Maersk Carolina, MSC Lana, Thurgau, Ocean Star and M.V Ana Dorothea are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, wheat and urea respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 51623 tonnes comprising 14181 tonnes imports and 37442 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2116 containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
