KARACHI: Six Ships carrying containers arrived at QICT - Palm oil at LCT, Cement at MW-2 and to discharge Furnace oil at FOTCO on Tuesday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 28% at the Port on Wednesday where a total of eight ships namely M.Vpagona, M.V Hanjin Elzabath, M.V Maersk Montana, M.V Hanjin Venezia, M.V Sea Land Michigan, M.T Bomchin, M.T AL Salam-II M.T Karachi. M.V Sonoma are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, containers.
Furnace oil, Diesel oil Canola seed and Palm oil was handled during last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 113783 tonnes comprising 84476 tonnes Import,29307 tonnes export and 3432(Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
