LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has constituted special mobile teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow of power supply during Eid holidays.
LESCO Chief Executive Sharafat Sial told APP on Saturday that all SEs, Xens and SDOs posted in Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur and Lahore districts have been directed to deploy special staff on Eid holidays at all sub-divisions to check promptly to any power failure complaints.
Field officers too have been directed to remain available at their posts during the holidays for this purpose, and no-one will be allowed to leave their station without prior approval, he added.
He said the Director Store and the Director Workshop have also been asked to make arrangements to provide new transformers in case of any emergency and repair transformers damaged due to kite flying or overload during Eid festivities.
