KARACHI: Three ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday carrying containers at QICT, chemical at EVTL, LPG at SSGC.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 71% at the Port Qasim on Saturday where a total of ten ships namely M.V Fisher-D, M.V Hawk, M.V BBC Arizona, Zulu M.T Malibu, M.T Gas Husky are currently occupying berths to load/offload palm oil, project cargo, chemical, cement, containers, LPG was handled at Port Qasim last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operation were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume 43,589 tonnes comprising 11,450 tonnes import export 32,319 and 2,015 (Tues) was handled at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
M.V MSC Jade, M.T Malibu, M.V MSC Lina, M.V Belgica sailed on Friday afternoon and M.V UASC Shuwaikh sailed on Saturday morning. M.V Lantau Arrow arrive at QICT on 4th August 2012.
