ISE-10 index witnesses bearish trend

ise 400ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed a bearish trend on Friday as the ISE-10 index was down by 13.01 points to close 2892.20.

A total of 49,000 shares were traded, which were up by 42,000 shares as compared to previous day's trading of 7000 shares.

Out of 110 companies, share prices of 43 companies recorded increase and those of 67 registered decrease. No company remained stable.

The share price of Ulever Pakistan increased by Rs. 35, while that of Engro Corporation decreased by Rs. 2.01.

NiB Bank, Maple Leaf Cement and Lafrage Pakistan Cement remained the top trading companies with 25,000, 8,000 and 8,000 shares respectively.
