Russell Brand takes dig at all “Katy’s”

KARACHI: British Comedian Russell Brand has reportedly badmouthed ex-wife Katy Perry for the first time since the couple divorced sometime last year.

On his show he addressed a woman by the name of Katy as “Brand X” and said people with the similar name are a “pain” for him.

Ever since the two of them announced their separation, the comedian refrained making any digs about his ex, though Perry made her movie “Part of me” primarily on the couple’s ups-and-downs. But as soon as the divorce papers were signed, it appears the comedian could no longer contain himself.

“Anyway, enough of you, I’ve had enough ar*e-ache from people called Katy in the last year,” Brand said during a recent show.

According to media sources, “Russell was in great form, having some banter with the audience. Then he came across this audience member who was named Katy. They were having some chat about whether Katy could satisfy her boyfriend in bed when, all of a sudden, Russell shouted the comment about ar*e-ache. It was a blatant reference to Katy Perry.”
