Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One ship arrived at Port Qasim on Saturday carrying project cargo at MW 2.

Berth occupancy was remained at 42% at the Port Qasim on Saturday where a total of six ships namely M.T Bow Chin, M.V BBC Kusan, M.V Safmarine Ngami, M.V Singapore Trader, M.T Chem Road Vega, M.V Rain Bow Fairy are currently occupying berth to load/offload palm oil, containers, rice, project cargo was handled at the Prot Qasim last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume 24,800 tonnes comprising 16,755 tonnes import 8,045 tonnes export, 514 (TUEs) was handled at the Port Qasim during 24 hours.

M.V Safmarine Ngami sailed on Saturday afternoon, M.T Bow Chin, M.V Singapore Trader sailed on Sunday morning.
