Complete lockdown to be observed across Sindh from noon today

• The Sindh government has decided to maintain lockdown across the province from 12 noon to 3:30 pm today.

There will be a complete lockdown in all parts of Sindh, including Karachi, from 12 pm noon to 3:30 pm on Friday. There will be no Friday prayer gatherings and traffic will be closed on the roads.

According to the Sindh Home Department, the movement of people during the lockdown will be banned, all shops including those of food items will remain closed for three and a half hours while all business activities have been directed to be suspended, transport on the roads will also remain closed.

The provincial government says it has also decided to limit Friday prayer gatherings during the lockdown and that a maximum of five people will be able to offer Friday prayers in mosques, while the rest will be able to offer prayers at home.

The Sindh government has directed the citizens to fully comply with the SOPs of the Home Department.
