The federal government has decided to partially resume train operations from May 10. Online bookings will start from the next day after final approval from Prime Minister Imran Khan on May 8.

The Ministry of Railways has sent a letter, under which the first phase will start with special arrangements, 24 trains will be run, the trains will be 50 percent booked and 50pc empty.

Passengers must arrive at the station for one hour in advance. Passengers must carry with them masks, gloves, sanitizers, and soap.

Meanwhile, approval will be sought from the Prime Minister for the resumption of train operations. Only online booking will start from May 9
