Senior Vice Chairman Hyderabad SITE Association of Trade and Industry Amir Shahab has slammed the injustices being carried out by the management of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company and demanded the federal energy minister to take serious notice of violation of the government directives.

In view of countrywide lockdown, the federal government had granted relief to power consumers including extension in last date of depositing electricity bills as well as three months relaxation to those consumers who utilized electricity up to Rs 5000/-, he said.

He said that while violating the clear directives of the federal government, the Hesco officers and staff have started disconnecting industrial power connections despite the fact that all industrial activities remained closed since implementation of lockdown.

Due to closure of industrial activities, it is very difficult for industrialists to pay bills of Hesco or other service providers, he said and criticized the disconnection of industrial power connections in SITE Hyderabad.

He demanded the Federal Energy Minister Umer Ayub and other authorities concerned to take serious notice of such injustice of Hesco management and provide sigh of relief to the people particularly the community of trade and industry.
