KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port on Friday 18th May, 2012 carrying containers at QICT, says a statement issued here Saturday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 50% at the Port on Friday where a total of seven ships namely M.T Harsanadi, M.V Msc Seirra-II, M.V Safmarine Ngami, M.V Asian Trader, M.T Lahore, M.T Nor Gas Napa M.V Luilang Wisdom are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, wheat, furnace oil, chemical, Meg was handled at Port last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 137311 tonnes comprising 91611 tonnes import, 45700 tonnes export and 5505 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.T Norgas Napa sailed on Friday afternoon. M.T Lahore and M.V Asian Trader sailed on Saturday morning.
