Pakistan Cricket Board, which is celebrating the return of international cricket in Pakistan, has shown sheer negligence to honour legendary cricketer Sadiq Muhammad, issuing him a complementary pass of general enclosure instead of Chairman Box to witness the historic second Test between Sri Lanka and the Pakistan.

PCB is often blamed disrespecting its legendary cricketers. In a recent outcry by highest runs scorer in Test cricket Younus Khan, who has declined PCB invitation to be special guest during second Test match at National Stadium Karachi with the rationale to have received invitation late from Managing Director Wasim Khan, which he believed should have been given by chairman PCB.

Similarly, the PCB was also lambasted for not giving due respect to the Caribbean Cricket legend Michael Holding during ODI series with Sri Lanka in Karachi last October.

Now PCB continues its legacy to disrespect its star cricketers as legendary cricketer Sadiq Muhammad has been embarrassed to witness the first day of historic second test between Sri Lanka and the home side at Imran Khan Enclosure (general enclosure).

Talking to Business Recorder, Sadiq Muhammad termed it as impertinence, saying that few former greats were in Karachi but PCB failed to honor them.

The 74-year-old Sadiq Muhammad, who represented Pakistan in 41 Tests and 19 ODIs, was forced to come into Enclosure by foot, due to said reason. Sadiq Muhammad said that he complained to the MD PCB Wasim Khan, who assured him to issue chairman box pass on second day of the test match.
