KARACHI: Two ships arrived at the Port here on Saturday, carrying palm oil at LCT, according to a statement of the port.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 42 percent at the Port on Saturday where a total of six ships namely M.V Catamaraca, M.V Hawk, M.V MSC Hina, M.V Tampa Bay, M.T Chemroad Wing, M.T Stolt Helluland are currently occupying berths to load/ offload cement, containers, steel coils, chemical, palm oil.
Handling operations ware carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 25213 tonnes comprising 22886 tonnes import, 2327 tonnes export, 450 (Tues) was handled at the Port during the last 24 hours.
M.V MSC Hina, M.V Tampa Bay, MV Mercy Wisdom and MV Elicia sailed on Saturday afternoon, M.T Stolt Helluuland, M.V Hawk sailed on Sunday morning.
M.T Framura at FOTCO, M.T Harsandi at EVTL, Maersk Georgia at QICT were to arrive on April 29, the statement said.
