Jennifer Lawrence gets candid about falling in love, wedding

Academy award winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is on cloud nine after getting engaged to art gallerist Cooke Maroney. The actress is ready to get married and the wedding planning is already in full swing.

Lawrence spoke on Catt Sadler's ‘Naked with Catt Sandler’ podcast and answered every question fans have about her husband-to-be. She revealed that she fell fast and didn't have doubts when it came to getting engaged.

“It was just, it was so organic. I don’t know, I haven’t talked about it yet in an interview setting. I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married.’ I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend, so I want to legally bind him to me forever," she said.

Talking about the big day, she said that things are going pretty fast and she is quite excited about planning everything about the wedding. She already has most of the major stuff on her checklist completed. She was asked if she was nervous, and she cheerfully replied, “No, not really. I’ve been in a good place”.

The actress has also taken some time off from film work. She hasn’t starred in a movie since ‘Red Sparrow’ which opened in March 2018, and did a minimal amount of promotion for the recent ‘Dark Phoenix’, in which she had a supporting role.

Lawrence got engaged to Maroney in February and celebrated her engagement party last month.
