LONDON: European stock markets rose at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.1 percent to 7,212.68 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 0.1 percent to 12,044.10 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.3 percent to 5,337.50, compared with Friday's closing levels.
