Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Miftah Ismail's names placed on ECL

The interior ministry placed the names of former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and former finance minister Miftah Ismail and others on the Exit Control List (ECL) on Friday.

The interior ministry took this decision after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) recommended to place the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leaders name and others on the ECL, local media reported. Both the PML-N leaders are being investigated in connection with the liquefied natural gas (LNG) corruption case.

Others whose names have been placed on the no-fly list include Shahid Islamuddin, Imran-ul-Haq,  Mubin Saulat, Aamer Naseem.and Uzma Adil Khan.
