LONDON: The cost of insuring exposure to Turkey's sovereign debt rose to the highest level since the pre-election market turmoil in late March as festering disappointment over the country's economic strategy laid out this week kept the lira on the slide.
Turkey 5-year credit default swaps rose 13 basis points (bps) from Thursday's close to 448 bps, according to data from IHS Markit.
