Japan urges China on currency policy

BEIJING: Japanese Finance Minister Jun Azumi said on Sunday he had urged China to be more flexible on its currency policy and both Japan and China wanted to see more efforts from Europe on ending the European debt crisis.

Azumi is visiting China for talks on bilateral financial cooperation and Europe's problems. China has become Japan's biggest export destination and No.1 trading partner, taking over from the United States.
