ISLAMABAD: The Cumulative trade figure shows that Pakistan's exports during July-January 2011-12 were US $ 13.189 billion, when compared to the corresponding period of the last year 2010-11 exports were $ 13.122 billion, which shows 0.5 percent growth.
"Imports during July-January 2011-12 were $ 26.362 billion as compare to $ 22.546 billion during the same period of the year 2010- 11, registered a 15.9 percent growth", says a statement of TDAP issued on Monday.
According to the TDAP, on the other hand month wise trade figure shows that Pakistan's exports during January 2012 were valued at US $ 1.953 billion which was 15.4 percent lower than the level of US $ 2.307 billion during January 2011.
Similarly the imports during January 2012 were valued at US $ 3.649 billion registering a growth of 6 percent over the level of imports valued at US $ 3.444 billion in January 2011.
