Malik Club and Khyber Green advanced to next round after securing victories against their respective rivals in the ongoing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Youth Under-19 Cricket Tournament being played here at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium on Thursday. In the first match Malik Club defeated Dir Lower by one wicket. Dir Lower won the toss and elected to bat first by setting up 104 runs in which Abdur Rehman scored 28 runs, Shah Faisal (21) and Ihsan Ullah (20) were the key contributors. For Malik Club Anis Azam claimed four wickets, Sohail Junior grabbed three wickets.
In reply, Malik Club chased the target in the last over for the loss of nine wickets with Saeed scored 24 runs, Anis Azam (17). Suleman claimed four wickets. Hussain and Zahoor got two wickets each. In the second Peshawar Badshah batting first scored 102 runs. Farman scored 50 runs. For Khyber Green Umar Ali and Haroon got three wickets each.
Khyber Green chased the target for the loss of five wickets with Ajmal (43), Rahim (24) were the key scorers. Haleem got two wickets. Zaheer Khan, Khurram Shehzad acted as umpires.
