Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim on Saturday, carrying containers at QICT, Paraxylene at EVTL, a statement on Sunday said.

Berth occupancy was 42 percent at the Port on Sunday where six ships M.V Florida-II, M.V MSC Sena, M.T Ginfa Falcon, M.T Fair Spirit, M.T Capriole and M.V and M.V Coronado are currently occupying berths to load and unload cement, containers, palm oil, furnace oil, paraxylene and canola during last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 63271 tons, comprising 44961 tons import and 18310 tons export and 1050 tons was handled during last 24 hours.

M.V STX Daisy and M.V Maersk Wisconsin expected to take berth on Sunday, the statement said.
