LONDON: Europe's stock markets stabilised in opening trade on Friday, with London's FTSE 100 shares index up 0.2 percent at 7,677.12 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 edged 0.1 percent higher to 12,825.75 points, while the Paris CAC 40 slipped 0.1 percent to 5,477.53 compared with Thursday's closing levels.
