Poland's registered unemployment at 6.3pc in April, as expected

WARSAW: Poland's registered unemployment rate fell to 6.3 percent in April as expected, compared with 6.6 percent in March, statistics office data showed on Friday.

The statistics office said the number of registered unemployed stood at 1.04 million in April.

Separately, the statistics office said the unemployment rate as measured by the Labour Force Survey (BAEL) fell to 4.2 percent in the first quarter versus 4.5 percent in the previous quarter.
