Fata Merger Bill to be tabled in Senate on Friday

ISLAMABAD: The Constitution (Thirty First Amendment) Bill, 2018 (Fata Merger Bill) would be tabled in the Senate on Friday, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani said on Thursday.

Presiding over Senate session, the Chairman Senate asked Parliamentary leaders of various political parties to ensure their presence on Friday as important bill would be presented in the House. The bill has already been passed by the National Assembly on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Senate offered Fateha for the departed soul of Ms Sabika Shaikh, who was killed in USA school in an indiscriminate firing by a fanatic boy. Fateha was also offered for the departed souls of Colonel Sohail Abid and others, who were martyred in Quetta.
