Kenyan shilling firm, to gain due to tight liquidity

Published Updated

NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling was stable on Monday, and was expected to gain ground, helped by tight liquidity in the money markets, and thin dollar demand from oil importers, traders said.

At 0846 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 100.90/101.00 per dollar, the same as Friday's close.
