LONDON: Europe's main stock markets declined in opening deals on Wednesday, after earlier losses in Asia.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index dipped nearly 0.1 percent to 7,748.89 points compared with the closing level on Tuesday.
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 index lost 0.3 percent to 5,496.26 points and Frankfurt's DAX 30 also shed 0.3 percent to 13,200.92.
