In Indian Occupied Kashmir, veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Geelani and senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah were placed under house arrest on Friday. Syed Ali Geelani has been placed under house arrest at his Hyderpora residence in occupied Srinagar and Shabbir Shah, the Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party, at his Sant Nagar residence in the city.
A huge contingent of police personnel cordoned off the residences of the leaders and informed them that they cannot move out, KMS reported.
