Tit for tat: Kangana reportedly refuses to support ‘Padmavati’ and Deepika

Bollywood’s controversial actress Kangana Ranaut is unarguably the most vocal female celebrity in the Indian movie industry. The ‘Queen’ actress has refused to speak or show any support against the death threats made for ‘Padmavati’ actress Deepika Padukone.

In her recent rants against alleged ex-boyfriend Hrithik Roshan, Kangana was not supported by any Bollywood celebrities and the actress was particularly displeased with her former friend Deepika, with whom Kangana has had a bitter sweet relationship.

Apparently, for the same reason Kangana is refusing to extend her support for Deepika and her movie ‘Padmavati’. For the threats made against ‘Padmavati’ and Deepika, film fraternity have signed a petition for their safety and protection.

However, Mid-day reported that Kangana has flatly refused this petition that has already been signed by Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Vidya Balan and Anushka Sharma. A source was quoted saying, “Kangana refused point-blank. She said an outright no to signing the Deepika Bachao petition, much to Shabana’s shock and annoyance.”

Previously, the leaked emails of Kangana revealed the truth about her relationship with Deepika and what actually went down their friendship. A part of the email read, "Also though I know Deepika won’t call, because that’s has been happening for past 4 days now but the fact that she said and she didn’t, starts to play on my mind and makes me depressed."
