Pakistan Under-19s reached the finals of the Under-19 Asia Cup, after they clinched a thrilling victory over Bangladesh, wining the semi finals by 2 runs under the Duckworth Lewis method.  

Pakistan finished off 199 for five at the end of 39 overs, two runs ahead of D/L method target, against the 274 runs target imposed by Bangladesh U-19.

17 years old Mohammad Taha, was the top scorer from Pakistan with 92 runs under his kitty, Taha inning consisted of eight boundaries and three sixes. Meanwhile, wicket-keeper batsman Rohail Nazir and Saad Khan led Pakistan to the end scoring 26 and 35, respectively.

In the bowling department, Munir Riaz was the pick of the bowler for Pakistan U-19, claiming three wickets, while leaking 53 runs in his eight overs.

The team green would now face either Afghanistan or Nepal U-19 in the finals on Sunday at Kuala Lampur.
