LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to participate in an International Green Week at Berlin, Germany, to showcase 15-fully traceable agriculture and livestock products, which will open doors of high end markets of the world to generation of tremendous business opportunities.
Agriculture department sources said on Saturday that participation in the International Green Week would help present Pakistan as an emerging country of traceable products for the world to meet food supply demand of the ever increasing global population.
The government of Punjab has reserved a stall for display of selected products of private sector exhibitors including mango pulp, potato, tomato, onion, cucumber, bell pepper, red chilies, basmati rice, parboiled rice, beef and mutton for the purpose, sources added.
