ISLAMABAD: Minister for Textile Industry Makhdoom Shahbuddin Friday said that public sector enterprises including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Pakistan Railways (PR) would be rehabilitated soon.
Answering several questions in National Assembly, he said Public Sector enterprises including Pakistan Railways, PIA and some other organizations are being rehabilitated.
Most of the public sector enterprises are sick for the last 40 years.
Answering a question he said the government was discouraging printing of currency notes as it increases inflation. Government has taken various measures to discourage price hike.
Suicides are being committed in the country due to personal reasons and nobody has committed suicide here in the country due to economic measures, he observed.
Several Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) has also been signed to import gas and electricity from the neighboring countries, he said.
