Australia 40-2 at tea, lead Pakistan by 327 runs

imageBRISBANE: Australia were 40 for two to lead Pakistan by 327 runs at tea on the third day of the day-night first Test at the Gabba on Saturday.

At the interval, Steve Smith was on eight with Usman Khawaja not out 13.

Pakistan were earlier dismissed for 142 with Sarfraz Ahmed unbeaten on 59 to trail the home side by 287 on the first innings. Australia did not enforce the follow-on.
