Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One conainer ship arrived at Port Qasim on Saturday.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 33% at the port on Saturday where a total of three ships namely M.V Amira Dina, M.V MSC Anafi, M.V Elbe Trader are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement and containers was handled at port last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 16084 tonnes, comprising 287 tonnes import and 15797 tonnes export, 671 (TUES) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

M.V MSC Anafi, M.V Elbe Trader sailed off on Saturday evening. M.V Maersk Kentucky at QICT will arrive on Sunday.
