Jihad and terrorism are two different notions, Jihad is a struggle for the right of oppressed people against cruel and establish a society on the basis of justice, which is possible only by giving rights to the oppressed.
Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) President and Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Qazi Hussain Ahmed has said this while addressing a Friday congregation at Quba Mosque, Metrovalle, in Site area here on Friday.
He said, "Islam emphasises on justice and teaches its followers not to accept slavery of any aggressor and worship only Almighty Allah, injustice, cruelty and atrocities take roots because of unavailability of justice in the world."
Qazi Hussain Ahmed said: "Holy Quran was started revealing in scared month of Ramazan, which teaches Muslim Umma to wage (Jijad) struggle against terrorism and establish a system based on justice so that humanity could have a sense of security of lives, honour and property."
He said, "Islam also teaches its followers to avoid any obstruction from any side. Muslims should strengthen them by collecting weapons and prepare themselves to fight against evil forces."
Qazi said the people of Kashmir and Palestine were facing state terrorism as US, Israel and India had become terrorist states and were killing the oppressed people of Philistine and Kashmir.
The rulers were feeling proud to be a frontline state with the US in her so-called "fight against terrorism" in which Muslims citizens throughout the world were being killed, he added.
