KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Ejaz Ahmed Khan has assured that problems of transporters would be resolved on priority basis.
He was chairing a meeting regarding the United Goods Transporters and the Hawbesbay Truck Stand on Friday.
The president of United Goods Transporters, Khalid Khan, apprised the Commissioner in detail about the problems of the transporters' community.
Director General Technical Services of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) who was also present at the meeting informed the Commissioner that tenders have been floated regarding development works for the Mauripur Truck Stand.
Commissioner said that matters pertaining to allocation of land by the Karachi Port Trust to Local Transport of Goods Association would be resolved soon.
