MULTAN: A delegation of Huawei enterprises led by its country Deputy Managing Director Tony Lee on Wednesday met Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) CEO Engineer Fazalullah Durrani here.
The delegation apprised the CEO Mepco that they have installed 1186 AMI meters at 11 KV feeder in Lahore Electric Supply Company. The delegation further said that the purpose to install AMI meters was to get automatic reading and information about any fault in meter.
The CEO Mepco said that they had upgraded various departments of the company including MI Cell, power distribution center, planning and engineering and customers services departments with latest technology by the cooperation of USAID.
Later, the delegation also visited the AMI set-up at computer center.
